Finding the Right CAD Tool for Interiors

I’ve been diving into various CAD tools for interior architecture lately, and I’m curious about what others prefer for space planning versus aesthetic renderings. For instance, I’ve found that SketchUp facilitates a more intuitive layout process, whereas AutoCAD excels in precision for detailed designs. What has your experience been with balancing the functional aspects and visual appeal in your projects?

I’ve found that using Revit for space planning alongside SketchUp for aesthetic renderings really streamlines the process. Revit’s parametric modeling is great for coordination, but I still love how quickly I can visualize concepts in SketchUp. Sometimes, a mixed approach gives the best of both worlds.
