Importance of verifying circuit designs

I recently faced a challenge while debugging a circuit that seemed perfectly designed but failed to meet compliance during the review stage. It really highlighted the need for thorough verification processes in CAD work, especially in light of the latest electrical codes. Has anyone else experienced this discrepancy between design accuracy and real-world application?
