Anyone using Navisworks vs Tekla 2024’s internal clash to catch base plate anchors colliding with slab top mat? With a 3 mm tolerance I’m still seeing misses when anchors are modeled with couplers, which risks noncompliant edge distances per ACI and could slip through to issued drawings — what settings are you trusting to keep these conflicts visible?
3 mm misses here too; Navisworks ‘Clearance’ at coupler OD (about 10 mm) catches them; export anchors/couplers as exact solids.
Tekla 2024 only stopped missing these for me after I forced couplers and bars to Exact solids and ran clash against pour objects — otherwise the stick rebar rep glossed over little “kisses” at the coupler collar. I also drop a temporary no‑go cylinder around each anchor at coupler OD/2 + about 5 mm and clash the top mat to that so the ACI edge distance risk can’t sneak through, @c_thomas34. Worth flipping exactness on and seeing if those 3 mm misses disappear.
