The joys of missing dimensions

Isn’t it hilarious when you realize a plan just doesn’t add up because someone forgot to include critical dimensions? I had that happen last week during a review, and I could almost hear the collective sigh from the team as we tried to figure out where it all went wrong. It’s a good reminder that no matter how advanced our tools are, some basics can slip through the cracks.

But , this drives me nuts too! I had a project last month where we didn’t catch missing dimensions until the eleventh hour, and it derailed the whole timeline. It’s crazy how the basics can easily slip through the cracks, but maybe setting stricter review checklists could help?

It really is a kick in the gut when dimensions get overlooked… I’ve found a quick cross-check against a checklist before the final review can help catch those sneaky omissions. Ever tried implementing a peer review for plans?

I’ve had some luck using a shared document where everyone can update their sections in real-time before a review. It’s not foolproof, but it helps keep everyone on the same page. Have you tried that approach, or do you have a different system that works for you?
